Managing Director, Philips Medical Capital

The primary function of the Managing Director, Philips Medical Capital (PMC’), is the development and management of the strategic and operational goals of the joint venture to ensure that the Board approved business plans and budgets are achieved. PMC is a 22-year-old joint venture owned by DLL and Philips North America. PMC’s mandate is to provide innovative and meaningful payment solutions to US healthcare providers during their acquisition of Philips equipment. You will be responsible for the growth of the top and bottom line of the joint venture, and for the development of human resources in the joint venture and for managing and motivating the joint venture leadership team.

As Managing Director, Philips Medical Capital you will receive guidance from Senior Stakeholders at both DLL and Philips Capital.

Location close to Wayne, PA is preferred but not a prerequisite. 

This position is located on the east coast

Day to Day

  • Increase Lease Penetration for different Philips modalities, including diagnostic imaging, patient monitoring & image guided therapy business.
  • Develop strategic plans for the joint venture for approval by the Board.
  • Manage, monitor and control all the joint venture’s commercial and operational matters
  • Achieving the budgeted profit for the company.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships between the shareholders.
  • Develop close working relationships with & obtain necessary buy in by Philips Sales Management & business leaders.
  • Ensure that all outsourced shared services department activities are completed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage and motivate the joint venture management team.
  • Ensure effective communication of the company strategy, action plans and performance to all joint venture members.
  • Manage development of human resources in conjunction with the DLL HRM department.
  • Ensure that the credit quality of the new business portfolio is consistent with the PMC’s & DLL risk policies.
  • Maintain appropriate management and control structure.

Essentials

  • Relevant (minimum 10 years) experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Experience in the Healthcare finance business is preferred.
  • Proven ability in providing strategic vision and positive leadership to drive business growth.
  • Strong sales, general management and negotiating experience.
  • Leadership qualities.
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally at all levels.
  • Fluent in English at a professional level.

Applicable pay range

$181,786.05 - $272,679.08 (This role is eligible for sales commissions which increase the target earnings beyond the listed pay range)

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
