Purpose of this position

Identify and pursue Retail and Inventory Finance opportunities and build commercial relationships with new and existing Golf & Turf equipment distributor/dealer network in order to realize the sales objectives on penetration, new business volume and profitability.

Day to Day

  • Manage business relationships with dealers in order to increase business volume, income and profitability in an assigned territory
  • Define and implement a dealer plan and targets in order to give direction to dealer support, sales and relationship activities
  • Visit dealers, bringing attention to the vendor/partner program opportunities, in order to gain dealer support for vendor/partner program and originate quote requests
  • Identify sales opportunities with dealer organization and ensure follow up of opportunities within DLL sales organization
  • Signal improvement opportunities during program life cycle and introduce new and existing products/services to dealer, in order to optimize service delivery
  • Structure complex transactions with dealer in order to meet dealer business needs
  • Attend and support trade shows, industry conferences, training, etc as needed

Essentials

  • Four year college degree
  • Insight and experience in vendor finance and golf & turf equipment finance markets
  • Strong working knowledge of financial statements and/or credit reports
  • Ability and willingness to relocate to assigned territory
  • Highly motivated and energetic with a proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team to reach sales goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of financial calculators and pricing tools
  • A major strength would be to possess relationships with Turf equipment dealers and customers

Applicable pay range

$108,442.53 - $162,663.79 (This role is eligible for sales commissions which increase the target earnings beyond the listed pay range)

DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.

This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
