DLL is looking for a detail-oriented and pragmatic professional with a passion for legal support who thrives in a dynamic environment. We have a team of dedicated paralegals working at the heart of our legal department within our international financial services company.

Members will come to you with a wide variety of legal requests and your involvement in the work of the team is crucial. You will be responsible for a wide range of legal requests, provide proactive support to the team, and have strong relationships with various groups. No job is too big or too small. Day to day:

As a Paralegal within our Group Legal Corporate & Regulatory Team, your role encompasses a mix of administrative duties, documentation review and management, and efficient processes. Here’s an overview of your day-to-day tasks:

  • Corporate housekeeping: preparing documentation, arranging legalisation and apostille of documents, ensuring necessary filings (e.g. Dutch Commercial Register) and any additional requirement for sound corporate standing.
  • Document Sign-Off Coordination: You’ll manage the end-stage review and sign-off processes for multiple documents (such as Powers of Attorney, Shareholder Agreements), guiding stakeholders through internal approvals and ensuring all required signatures are obtained.
  • Legal Research and Project Assistance: As required, you’ll contribute to legal projects on a case-by-case basis.
  • Legal Entity Management: Your responsibilities include filing documents and keeping the Legal Entity Management repository updated.
  • Deadline Management: You’ll keep track of deadlines and manage calendars effectively.
  • General Administrative Support: You’ll provide assistance to team members as needed, handling various projects and tasks.

Essentials:

  • We encourage applications from candidates with a bachelor’s degree, but we also equally value a certificate of completion from a paralegal program or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Up to 3 years of work experience in a legal administrative role is desirable. Proven experience as a Paralegal / Legal Assistant is preferred.
  • You should have a competent level of skill and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Additionally, a willingness to learn company-specific software and related legal applications is important.
  • Being organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects is essential.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with individuals at all levels within and outside the organization.
  • We value team players who take initiative to address problems and continuously improve processes.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. While Dutch is not mandatory, it would be highly appreciated. Any additional languages are considered an added value.
  • Minimum two (2) days of working from the office is required.
  • The position will be located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
