As the Nordics Customer Service Desk Manager, you will oversee a team of 16 members across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark, ensuring the Customer Service Desk delivers great service. Your role involves setting and executing strategy, driving process improvements, and fostering a happy and high performing team. You will coach and support your team and collaborate with the Operations Management team to achieve the vision.

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our operations, we are restructuring to place a stronger emphasis on customer service. Currently, our managers oversee multiple teams across various countries. To better focus on this area, we are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Desk Manager Nordics.

Day to day

  • Coaching and supporting team members, which will involve traveling to other locations, conducting touchpoints, and facilitating improvements within the Customer Service Desk.
  • Developing the Customer Service Desk (CSD) in the Nordics with a focus on process improvement.
  • Be a driving force within the Operations leadership team.
  • Leverage the needs of CSD with other internal stakeholders.
  • You will collaborate with 10 colleagues in the management team to ensure the vision is effectively executed

Essentials

As a leader, you excel in workforce planning, developing the Customer Service Desk, and motivating the team to reach their full potential. As you are managing your team in three different countries it is of course important that you have strong leadership skills, and that you can adapt between managing your team remotely and face-to-face.

You are comfortable challenging the status quo and not afraid to question existing processes to suggest innovative improvements. Taking initiative and ensuring actions are taken to achieve tangible results is second nature to you. You support your members and are not afraid to provide constructive feedback on a regular basis.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership position.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage off-site teams effectively.
  • Strong results-oriented leadership skills.
  • Fluent in Swedish, Norwegian or Danish as well as fluenct in English.
